General provisions

Concept of the RF transport Safety & security (further referred to as Concept) - is a system of views on the provision in the Russian Federation of personal, social and state security in respect of external and internal threats in the transport sphere. The most important orientations of the RF state policy in this sphere of life are formulated in this Concept.

The RF transport Safety & security means the state of protection of vitally important personal, social and state interests in the transport sphere from internal and external threats, the state of protection of transport complex from such threats.

The RF transport Safety & security includes: determination of national interests in the transport sphere, revelation of factors which cause threats to such interests, establishment of the counteraction system against negative factors and threats in this sphere, definition of measures which can up-grade the level of transport security of the Russian Federation and bring it to conformity with the world standards.
